Kennedy James, the France-born, New York-based artist has elevated bondage to a fine art form. Known for serial bondage the artist works in miniature, tieing-up, binding and harnessing dollhouse-scale armchairs in Louis XV, Napoleon III or Voltaire styles, drawing attention to the inherent submissivity and anthroprometicality of her inanimate subjects.
